We loved the Zanzibar Retreat Hotel. Its a small (12 room) hotel located right on the beach. The view from the dining area is like a postcard as you watch the Indian Ocean and waves breaking on the nearby reef.

Excellent place right on a quiet and beautiful beach. Very well designed. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Excellent food and great service and staff. Having the owner present at all times definitely helps.
