Beautiful hotel and grounds. Really lovely. The service is, however, not on par with the buildings and grounds. While absolutely fine, it lacks the finesse that the hotel holds itself out as having and that's disappointing. Everyone there is lovely, just not great when it comes to customer service. I suspect that the unobtrusiveness that I read about in other reviews might be a lack of confidence on the part of the staff. That said, if you go here expecting somewhat clunky and rusty service delivered with endearing goodwill, you won't be disappointed and, unlike me, you'd give it 5 stars.

We travel alot so I am a bit critical of hotels. This one was a winner. The rooms are beautiful and the setting is gorgeous. Very calming. I loved walking around and looking at the beautiful artwork and furniture. The restaurant was excellent. The pool is fabulous. The service was also over the top. Highly recommend!

We stayed 4 nights and found this hotel so calm and relaxing. Room spacious and well equipped, swimming pool beautifully maintained. The layout and design of the courtyard is lovely. Great location away from the bustling streets, but walking distance to the Wats and street markets.
