Very classy high end hotel. Beautiful rooms with magnificent views of Epernay. Hotel staff are courteous and most spoke excellent English. The hotel is about 2 to 3 hours drive from Calais. So is reasonably easy to reach and provides a base for exploring the region. This is our second visit and won't be our last.

This hotel won me over. The architecture was immediately impressive, as is the view. Rooms are nice, nothing showy, but comfortable and elegant and well thought through. (Room tip: one irritating thing is that - despite the hotel being newly built - the rooms do not seem to have individual temperature controls. In winter, all rooms are heated, meaning our room was uncomfortably hot. The hotel eventually sorted it out, but if you have a particular temperature you like the room, it is worth being proactive).I highly recommend the chef's table: superb food, with champagne pairing, and the waiters sommelier and above all the chef were great fun and hugely interesting. Finally, a mention of the charming and helpful staff, and the delightful general manager.
