Les Sources de Caudalie, located among the vineyards of Château Smith Haut Lafitte, a Graves great growth, was established in 1999. The concept behind Les Sources de Caudalie is inspired by the "French Paradox", discovered over 20 years ago. It refers to a study proving that the French diet and lifestyle, particularly in Southwest France, is conducive to good health.
Between vineyards and forests, at only 20 minutes from Bordeaux center, the architect Yves Collet created from scratch contemporary buildings from recycled local materials in tune with the surroundings.

Alice and Jérôme Tourbier have managed Les Sources de Caudalie for the past ten years in keeping with the values they hold dear: well-being, generosity, authenticity, high-quality service, and emotion. Welcome to a universe where everything is devoted to nature, taste and senses.

I love it here. As you can see from photos, the gardens, grounds and decor are gorgeous, elegant and refined. The service is top notch. I would love it if they'd switch from chlorine pools to saltwater, add more sustainable (vegan and ……

The best hotel we have ever stayed in. The ultimate in relaxation and luxury. Perfect food, perfect wine - the perfect setting for our honeymoon. Many thanks

The single easiest website to navigate to make reservations and upgrade if desired. Warm reception that took our bags and ushered us to our lunch reservation, which we just barely made. The food in the second restaurant (there was some confusion where we were to eat-I had tried to make a reservation in the grand restaurant and they said there was no space, only to be told later there had been space) was exactly what we wanted: simple yet extraordinary and comforting. The room is huge and yet warm and homey with a large fireplace and great high beamed ceilings. The bar is great fun-country and yet elegant and welcoming. Perhaps that is due to the bartenders who are among the best I have met-friendly and had me try something new, offering me anything else I wanted if I didn’t like it (I did). Attached winery and wine tour is professional and comprehensive. Facilities are varied (we loved the red bar for tapas) and we thought the indoor pool was beautiful-I had forgotten a suit and they offered to procure one for me. Our huge oversight was not visiting the world-class spa, because my friend who had come down to see me from Paris preferred to walk and talk. Next time (we hope!). Our room had incredible character (marine) but the bathroom was a bummer-with a toilet basically three feet and facing the shower. Too tight for my comfort, and kind of gross when showering. While the service was warm and well-meaning, there was the aforementioned restaurant snafu and in reserving online I had requested a special glass of wine for myself and my husband to be waiting that didn’t end up coming-and they asked if I wanted to be reimbursed (of course, that should just happen, I don’t want to be asked).
