How to go to Trancoso

Trancoso is located in the state of Bahia in Brazil, and there are a few different transportation options for getting there.

    By air: The nearest airport to Trancoso is Porto Seguro Airport (BPS), which is about an hour's drive away. There are daily flights from major Brazilian cities to Porto Seguro, and several airlines operate flights to the airport. From there, you can take a taxi, private transfer, or rental car to Trancoso.

    By road: Trancoso can also be reached by road from other parts of Brazil. The town is located about 30 kilometers south of Porto Seguro, and the drive takes around an hour. There are also bus services from major Brazilian cities such as Salvador and Rio de Janeiro that go to Porto Seguro.

    By sea: It is also possible to reach Trancoso by sea. There are several cruise ships that dock in Porto Seguro, and visitors can take a shore excursion to Trancoso or arrange for a private transfer.

Once you arrive in Trancoso, it is easy to get around on foot, by bike, or by car. The town is relatively small, and many of the main attractions are within walking distance of each other.
