How to go to Patmos
The easiest way to reach Patmos is by ferry. The island has a port called Skala which is connected by ferry to Piraeus, Athens' main port, and to other islands of the Dodecanese and the Aegean Sea. There are also ferry connections from the neighboring island of Kos. The journey time from Piraeus to Patmos takes approximately 8 hours, while the journey time from Kos to Patmos is around 2 hours. It is also possible to reach Patmos by plane, by flying to the island of Samos and then taking a ferry to Patmos.
