We had a fantastic four nights here (one extra than planned which they were able to accommodate. The staff are the most courteous and friendly I've ever experienced. Beautiful rooms, pool and great food at the restaurant. We had originally thought about staying on Bazaruto Island but for a fraction of the price of the resorts there had a perfect stay at Bahia Mar instead with the ability to walk down the beach into town and take a boat trip there instead.

The very best rooms and really good food. Value for money in a relaxed sober luxury setup. Recommendable for couples.

We spent our 35th wedding anniversary at this beaurifull hotel. I have a specialised diet and always need to fight with waiters, chefs and managers of these establishments to be served a decent meal. Well not this time, we had an amazing experience from the moment we set foot in this hotel. The staff were well prepared, ready, and exceptionally well informed, the suite was beautifull, well situated only a door separating us from the beach, fantastic view. We loved our days with the exquisite staff and venue. Thank you for making our time with you extraordinary, and a special thanks to your cheff and Spa!! When I close my eyes, your signatory spa treatment still takes me back to a very special, tranquil, relaxed and happy place. One of the best times we have ever had the privilege to experience. Highly recommended for a few days away to reset an exhausted body and mind.
